Handa Australia Cup

The Handa Australia Cup is a unique tournament designed to provide a distinctive opportunity for senior male and female professionals golfers along with junior boys and girls in Australia and is the brainchild of Dr Haruhisa Handa. The concept of the Handa Australia Cup played at Nedlands Golf Club in Perth provides golf fans with the opportunity to enjoy viewing some of our most famous golfers competing with Australia’s next generation of champions.

With a concept never before played around the world, the Handa Australia Cup has become a phenomenon in golf and continues to grow annually. Promoting the “Joining of the Generations” gives Australia’s next world champions the opportunity to compete against the heroes and legends of golf for the same title. With the senior male and female professionals competing for a substantial prize purse, it also gives the junior competitors the realistic experience of competing in a professional golf tournament and the added pressures that go along with competing for prize money.

Handa Open for seniors

In 2007, with the generosity of Dr Haruhisa Handa and his company International Sports Promotion Society, the Australian Senior Open title returned to the Australian golfing calendar after not having been played in over 10 years. The re-birth of the Handa Open 'for seniors' gives all senior male competitors from around the globe the chance to compete for a national championship and the honour that goes with such a victory.

Prior to the 2007 Handa Open 'for seniors' held at Concord Golf Club in Sydney, the Men's Australian Senior Open title had only been held twice before. Yarra Yarra Golf Club in Victoria hosted the first Men’s Australian Senior Open title in 1995 and the second Senior Open was hosted by Spring Valley Golf Club in 1996.

Vault Sports Management will continue the development of this prestigious senior title to ensure its history continues to grow and opportunities for Senior Male professionals are kept alive in Australian golf.

MasterCard Junior Masters

With Western Australia having a reputation for producing world class golfers, Vault Sports Management established the Australian Junior Golf Masters (MasterCard Junior Masters) in 2004 to give playing opportunities to our elite junior golfers. The Junior Masters provides Western Australian Junior Golfers and other Australian Juniors with the opportunity to compete against Australasia's best talent on their home soil. As well as raising awareness in one of the fastest growing golf competitive states, the Junior Masters offers the opportunity for junior golfers to compete for a position in a professional event - a priceless experience for any young aspiring golfer. The winning boy receives an invitation to play in the MasterCard Masters hosted annually at Huntingdale Golf club in Melbourne, while the winning girl receives an invitation to play in the ANZ Ladies Masters. An invitation only event, the MasterCard Junior Masters has become the most sought after invitation by young golfers from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Japan and the United Arab Emirates. The growing success of the tournament can be attributed to the ongoing sponsorship from MasterCard International, professional golfers personally assisting in flying juniors to the event from all around the world and the valued support of all corporate sponsors who are adding a huge amount of value to Junior Golf in Australia. Vault Sports Management continues to dedicate itself to the constant growth and improvement of the Australian Junior Golf Masters to ensure it maintains its reputation as the best junior event in the Southern Hemisphere.
