I met Wayne Smith in 1983 just prior to him turning pro and have formed a strong relationship with him over the last two decades. We played and travelled together in Australia, Asia, Japan and Europe as both our professional careers evolved.

Wayne Grady
I have known Wayne Smith for more than 20 years. During that time we have become very close friends both professionally and socially. Wayne won the Australian Amateur Championship in 1983 and shortly after turned professional. It did not take him long to make his mark and was named the PGA Tours Rookie of the Year in 1984. He played a number of years on the European Tour before concentrating his efforts on the Japanese Tour where he had a very distinguished and successful career. Waynes personal skills have been one of his greatest strengths. He has developed lasting relationships with the people he has met while travelling the world golf tours. He is highly respected by his peers, which was highlighted by his appointment as a Board Member of the Australasian PGA Tour in 2000.
Since taking his position on the Board Wayne has shown incredible understanding of commercial and business practices and has been a major contributor to the direction and policy implementation of the PGA Tour. This ability combined with 25 years of experience, his intimate knowledge of professional sport and player issues, gives Wayne the perfect platform to successfully grow his business and undertake any challenge he chooses.
